1. Introduction

Welcome to SmartLifeStack. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website smartlifestack.com and the purchase of our home automation products and installation services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

SmartLifeStack is operated from 909/910 Arc One - Lotus, Link Road, Andheri (West), Mumbai - 400053, India.

2. Services

SmartLifeStack provides home automation products and professional installation services, including but not limited to:

• Smart lighting automation systems
• AC automation and smart climate control
• Fan automation systems
• Curtain and blind automation
• Entrance and door automation
• Washroom automation solutions
• Office automation systems
• Complete smart home integration

3. Orders and Payments

• All product prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. However, confirmed orders will be honored at the quoted price.
• Payment must be completed as per the agreed payment terms before or at the time of installation.
• We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit cards, and other methods displayed at checkout.
• An order is confirmed only after we send you a written confirmation via email or WhatsApp.

4. Installation Services

• Installation dates and times are scheduled based on mutual agreement and product availability.
• The customer must ensure that the installation site is accessible and has the necessary electrical infrastructure (wiring, power supply, etc.) as communicated prior to installation.
• Any additional wiring, civil work, or modifications required beyond the standard installation scope will be quoted separately.
• SmartLifeStack is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, access restrictions, or incomplete site preparation.
• A responsible person must be present at the installation site during the installation process.

5. Warranty

• All SmartLifeStack products come with a 3-year warranty from the date of installation, unless otherwise specified for individual products.
• The warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use conditions.
• The warranty does not cover:
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications
  • Damage from power surges, water exposure, or natural disasters
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Issues caused by incompatible third-party devices or software
• Warranty claims must be reported by contacting our support team. We will arrange for inspection and, if applicable, repair or replacement at no additional cost.

6. Returns and Refunds

• Due to the nature of home automation products (custom installation), returns are accepted only for unused, unopened products within 7 days of delivery.
• Installed products cannot be returned. Warranty support applies instead.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 15 business days to the original payment method.
• Service charges for installation and site visits are non-refundable once the service has been performed.

7. Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled before dispatch or installation by contacting us via phone or email.
• Cancellations after product dispatch may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the order value.
• Custom or specially ordered products may not be eligible for cancellation. This will be communicated at the time of ordering.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of SmartLifeStack or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

9. Website Usage

• You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, server, or database.
• You must not introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code to the website.
• We reserve the right to restrict access to parts of our website at our discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

• SmartLifeStack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products, services, or website.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by third-party products, services, or integrations used alongside our products.

11. Force Majeure

SmartLifeStack shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, power failures, or internet disruptions.

12. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
